YILO KROBO MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY HOLDS TOWN HALL MEETING AT CHRIST APOSTOLIC CHURCH INTERNATIONAL, NKURAKAN

On Friday, 15th May 2026, the Assembly Member and residents of Nkurakan warmly welcomed the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Yilo Krobo Municipal Assembly (YKMA), Hon. Francis Addo Akumatey, together with his team of seasoned technocrats led by the Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Abdul Hussein A. Rasheed.

In his opening remarks, Hon. Akumatey expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Assembly Member and residents for their continuous support since his appointment. He assured them of the Assembly’s commitment to serve, listen to their concerns, and work on practical solutions. He emphasized that community engagement remains a cornerstone of participatory governance—promoting inclusiveness, transparency, and dialogue on key developmental issues across the Municipality.
The meeting also provided a transparent platform for dialogue, accountability, and community participation. Stakeholders, traditional leaders, youth groups, and civil society representatives commended the Assembly for its progress in sanitation, infrastructure development.
The discussions reaffirmed the Assembly’s commitment to responsive governance and strengthened the collaborative relationship between officials and citizens, ensuring rapid growth continues on a path of inclusiveness, good planning, and sustainable development.
