About YKMA
The Yilo Krobo Municipal Assembly is a local government authority in the Eastern Region of Ghana with Somanya as its administrative capital. The Municipality covers approximately 511 square kilometres and serves a population of 122,705.
Through effective planning, accountability, and collaboration with stakeholders, the Assembly delivers responsive public services, supports community development, and promotes long-term social, economic, and environmental progress across the Municipality.
