COMMISSIONING AND HANDING OVER OF MULTI-PROJECTS

On Tuesday, 20th January, 2026, the Eastern Regional Minister, Hon. Rita Akosua Adjei Awatey,and the Member of Parliament for Yilo Krobo Constituency, Hon. Albert Tetteh Nyakotey, joined the Municipal Chief Executive of Yilo Krobo Municipal Assembly, Hon. Francis Addo Akumatey, to commission and hand over multiple projects to the residents of five(5) communities in the Municipality.
These projects which will improve the health delivery services in the Municipality and welfare of health workers range from CHPS Compound to bungalow for health workers in five(5) communities. In Aketebour, Aboa Osuboninya, Akorwu Bana, and Aboabo, the Hon. Regional Minister, the Hon. MP, and the Hon. MCE jointly commissioned and handed over four(4) CHPS Compound with accommodation to the health workers and residents of these communities. Additionally, a nurse quarters at Klo-Agogo was commissioned and handed over to the nurses at Klo-Agogo.
In unison, they thanked the president of the republic for his commitment in completing legacy projects to serve the good people of Yilo. They admonished the residents and the nurses to take good care of the projects to serve many generations. Also, they pleaded with the residents to motivate the health workers.
The Municipal health Directorate and the residents of the five(5) communities expressed their overwhelming appreciation to the president of the republic, the Regional Minister, the Member of Parliament, and the Municipal Chief Executive.
