MUNICIPAL FINANCE OFFICER HOLDS QUARTERLY REVENUE ASSESSMENT, REWARDS TOP COLLECTORS

The Municipal Finance Officer, Mr. Albert Fiifi Amakye, organized the quarterly revenue assessment for municipal revenue collectors. During the meeting, he commended the collectors for their dedication and urged them to remain hardworking in driving the Assembly’s revenue mobilization efforts to meet its annual targets.As part of the program, three awards were presented to outstanding and committed collectors in recognition of their performance. They are Veronica matey,Daniel Angmortey and Nicholas Teye. The presentation was done by the Finance & Administration Sub-Committee Chairman, Hon. Ablakwa.

Mr. Amakye further emphasized that Management, through the Municipal Finance Office, will continue to reward hardworking and dedicated collectors at subsequent quarterly meetings to motivate staff and boost revenue collection. He also cautioned that poor-performing collectors would be referred to the F&A Committee for further questioning.Also present at the meeting was the Municipal Budget Officer.
