CHIEF DIRECTOR OF ERCC PAYS FAMILIARIZATION VISIT TO YILO KROBO MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY.

The Yilo Krobo Municipal Assembly on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, had the honor of hosting Mr. Ebenezer Amoah, Chief Director of the Eastern Regional Coordinating Council (ERCC), and Mr. Richard Kuubetesuur, the Regional Human Resource Manager.

The visit formed part of the Chief Director’s tour of Municipal and District Assemblies across the Eastern Region. The aim was to familiarize himself with the Assembly’s operations and to strengthen collaboration between the ERCC and MMDAs.

During the engagement, the Chief Director emphasized the need for staff to perform their duties with professionalism and to follow the appropriate channels of communication in resolving issues through the ERCC, rather than going directly to the Head Office.

The Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Francis Addo Akumatey, highlighted key development priorities, as well as the Assembly’s achievements, challenges, and ongoing efforts to improve service delivery in the municipality.

The Presiding Member, Hon. Edward Tengey, also commended the new Administration of the Assembly for its strong leadership and encouraged them to sustain the good work.The visit underscores the Chief Director’s commitment to promoting effective coordination, good governance, and improved performance in local government institutions across the region.

The Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Francis Addo Akumatey, and the Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Abdul-Hussein Rasheed, expressed appreciation to the Chief Director for the visit. They reaffirmed the Assembly’s commitment to work closely with the ERCC to promote sustainable development and enhance the well-being of the people of Yilo Krobo.
