DAY TWO | SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT CONFERENCE & AGRI-FOOD SYSTEMS BUSINESS FAIR 2026

On Thursday, September 3, 2026, the 6th Sustainable Development Conference and Agri-Food Systems Business Fair 2026 continued with its second day at the University of Environment and Sustainable Development (UESD), Somanya.
A major highlight of the day was the Nkabom Collaborative Student Networking Day, hosted by the Nkabom Collaborative Team at UESD, which brought together representatives from partner universities, students, institutions and stakeholders to connect, share ideas and explore opportunities for collaboration.
The Student Networking Day was held under the theme:
“Harnessing Linkages in the Agro-processing, Aquaculture, and Agribusiness Value Chain for Youth Enterprise Development in Ghana.”
The programme provided a vibrant platform for knowledge sharing, insightful discussions, engaging presentations, exhibitions and the showcasing of innovative products and ideas within the agri-food and sustainable development sectors.
The initiative continues to promote meaningful linkages between students, universities, industry and other stakeholders, with the goal of fostering innovation, collaboration and youth enterprise development in Ghana’s agro-food sector.
